What’s in my beach bag?
We consider ourselves a beach family. My husband is a surfer and we created a little beach baby. I love the beach too but I hate getting there and figuring out I didn’t bring something I really need. I also love packing my beach bag for a fun day. So, what’s in my beach bag? Just a few of my favorite things.
What’s in my beach bag?
Beach bag: My beach bag is this Simple Modern bag. I absolutely love it because it’s so easy to clean, lightweight and fits everything I need. It’s a Bogg bag dupe so a little cheaper. Highly recommend.
Beach towel: I love this Sand Cloud towel - lots of designs and easy to clean. I also found this amazing towel on a recent trip to Mallorca - the brand is Simone Georges and it’s been my go-to recently.
Sunglasses: Polarized is a MUST for me. These Quay sunglasses are super cute, good quality and I wouldn’t mind if I lost or broke them.
Hair essentials: I pack a hair clip, no-damage ponytail holders, a mini wet brush and some amazing leave-in conditioner.
Mini bags w/ must-have items: I use these toiletry bags in my beach bag to pack all the essentials. What goes in it? My sunscreen, Mason’s sunscreen, Surfer’s Salve, bug spray wipes, Wipe That Tush wipes, flossers, hand sanitizer, make-up remover wipes, hydration eye drops (for contacts) and mints. Nobody can say I’m not prepared, that’s for sure.
Snack tray: I’m a snacker and tend to get hangry if I go a while without eating. Beaches don’t always have the greatest options for food so I bring our snacks with us in this amazing snack tray. I love this thing because I can bring different types of snacks so everyone gets their favorite.
Water bottle: I don’t leave home without our Owala bottles. I love all the colors and that they have a kids version. It keeps my drink cool all day and fits nicely into my bag.
Wet bags: I always bring a change of clothes so we don’t have to drive or walk home in wet swimsuits. These wet bags are heaven sent to throw our swimsuits in and not worry about soaking anything in my bag. Super cute designs too.
Cover-up: My favorite cover-up is this shirt dress. It’s so easy to throw on, doesn’t wrinkle and comes in so many colors. (I have a few.)
Portable Charger: I’m constantly taking pictures and videos of Mason so I have to bring a charger for my phone. I’ve tried so many but this portable charger is my favorite and lasts the longest in my opinion. I love that it comes with the cords too.
Speaker: A portable, waterproof speaker is a must and this JBL speaker is my favorite. It packs a punch and keeps me grooving out to music Taylor Swift all day.
Beach toys: These packable beach toys are the best. The buckets fold down so they can easily be stored.
Packable ice chest: Ok, so technically it’s not in my beach bag but this packable ice chest always comes with us. I can’t get through a beach day without cold water, an olipop or snacks. Pack it with these cool packs and you’re set for the day!
